Blaze A Path To The Future You Deserve

Posted by

You are a leader in your own right and only leaders can blaze the path to a meaningful life, for themselves and for others.

Unfortunately, most people choose to abdicate this responsibility because of fear, lack of self worth and underdeveloped personal leadership.

I believe we are all in search of a meaningful life.  We all yearn for a today that is better than yesterday.

Even those who pretend otherwise without, have a strong yearning within.

They thirst to catalyze their way to a brighter future.  Unfortunately, they don’t know how  and they are too big to admit or to ask.

I have learned in my own journey that the demands of life are exceedingly overwhelming.

The voice of unnecessary social pressures can be so loud to shut down your inner voice.

However, this can change if you are determined to claim your personal leadership spot. The year 2019 will remain the same as yester-years until you do the following:

# Determine What Is Key In Your Life

There are many things we need in life and that is the reason why we are overwhelmed. Instead, identify 2 to 3 themes that if you were to do them well, your life will change for the better. This can be in the area of health, career, finance, etc. The important thing is to identify what is important in your life and do something about it.

# Define What Success Means For You

Clarity is key when it comes to that which we want to achieve. The journey becomes focused and easier when you know how you want to end up. If you fail to define the end state, you will end up anywhere.

# Pace Yourself

You are not competing with anyone in this world. Be realistic and hold yourself accountable. As Robin Sharma says, “Run your own race. Who cares what others are doing? The only question that matters is ‘Am I progressing’?”.

# Adopt Functional Habits

I suggest that you adopt habits that will blaze your dreams into success.  Often, I see people claiming to want something but doing the opposite. If it takes productive reading for 30 minutes daily or meditating every morning, then do it.

In the words of Robert Breault, “the road to success is not a path you find, but a trail you blaze”.

Don’t let these principles become meaningless and just another read. Take massive action today. You cannot make this shift on your own, you need the support and guidance of a Coach. Tex Hlalele is a Life, Leadership and Business Coach, Author, Facilitator and Speaker. You can contact us on
